Review II: Daniel Craig James Bond - Brother Production 1/6 Sky Fall MI6 Agent 12-inch figure

continued from previous post...

Here's Brother Production Presents 1/6 scale Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" (deliberately misspelled) 12-inch Figure in some action poses. In the first picture, 12-inch James Bond (Daniel Craig) is armed with the 1/6 scale Heckler & Koch UMP-9, the first weapon James Bond (Daniel Craig) uses in the film "Quantum of Solace (2008)" but didn't see any action in "Skyfall". Why it is included with Brother Production Sky Fall boxed figure set is anybody's guess - additional weapons are good :) and what makes this sweeter is that 1/6 scale UMP SMGs are quite hard to come by.

Scroll down to see other pictures of Brother Production 1/6 scale Secret Agent 007 James Bond (Daniel Craig) figure with his Walther PPK, Bond's main sidearm throughout all the films. I actually prefer this Bond over the DID MI6 Agent Jack because IMHO DiD's Jack looks rather old to be Bond - DiD's face looks old, long and saggy, like his face melted from seeing the Ark from Indiana Jones (they really should have retired him instead) whereas Brother production's Bond looks debonair and suave, as Bond should be ;p

Brother Production Presents 1/6 scale Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" 12-inch figure comes with 1/6 scale head sculpt, 12-inch base body with over 35 points of articulation, realistic and detailed suit, long sleeve shirt, bow tie, black tie (with metal wire for pose-ability), belt, socks, shoes, sunglasses, watch. He is armed with a Walter PPK handgun with silencer, UMP submachine gun with suppressor / silencer. Extras include 3 pairs of hands plus one: pair of gloved hands, pair of relaxed hands, pair of gun holding hands and one left hand for gripping the foregrip of his submachine gun.

This latest figure released by Brother Production does nor suffer from the "crappy body" syndrome that occurred with all their previous releases. All of Brother Production previous releases that I have gotten have suffered from poor quality 12-inch figure base bodies which could hardly hold any pose and would topple easily. Not so with this latest release.

Brother Production seems to have rectified that as this new 1/6 scale James Bond figure has a good solid 12-inch male body that can hold poses rather well

Here's a typical James Bond pose that we all know only too well, thanks to the 23 films produced by Eon Productions over 50 years from 1962's "Dr No" to 2012's "Skyfall".

Close-up picture of the Brother Production Presents Sky Fall MI6 Agent 1/6 scale head sculpt. Certainly does resemble Daniel Craig who was given the role of James Bond since 2006 with "Casino Royale". Check out my previous post for more close-up shots of the 1/6 scale head sculpt

I think I prefer him without his sunglasses

More pictures of 1/6 scale Daniel Craig James Bond with Heckler & Koch UMP-9 Submachine Gun

The Heckler & Koch UMP-9 is the first weapon Bond uses in the film "Quantum of Solace". Presumably, this is the same weapon (which was seen fitted with a suppressor) Bond uses to wound Mr. White at the end of Casino Royale.

James Bond (Daniel Craig) uses the UMP (this time unsuppressed) during the pre-titles car chase to dispatch the last of Mr. White's gunmen and evade capture.

The suppressed version of the Heckler & Koch UMP-9 is seen held by Daniel Craig in promotional material for the film, but is not seen suppressed in the film.
